With over 180 gins to choose from pick your favourite or try something different or new! Enjoy the full attention of our staff who’ll be happy to help match a gin and mixer to your preferred tastes. All gins are served with fresh or dried fruit prized for its sweet taste and freshly hand-picked garnish grown in our very own court yard

– There’s nothing missing from this ‘peedie’ experience.

We also stock a selection of alcohol free gin as well as rum, vodka, brandy, lager, cider and not forgetting prosecco, rose, red and white wine.

We welcome well behaved pets, provided they are kept under control at all times, and do not upset other patrons

Private Bookings

We welcome private party bookings out with our normal opening hours for birthdays, anniversaries, leaving doo’s, hen doo’s, works doo’s, pre wedding drinks etc. almost any occasion or excuse!
By pre arrangement the bar can be decorated to help celebrate your special occasion and canapés can be provided if required or you can bring your own nibbles!
Private bookings are for 6 or more people up to a maximum of 20.

Exclusive Gin Tasting Party

Enjoy a highly memorable and exclusive gin tasting experience accompanied by locally produced gin-infused canapés, and hear about the history of gin.
With a capacity for only 10 people for this event you can enjoy a peedie experience with four carefully chosen hand crafted artisanal gins, including Orkney’s very own award winning gin, all paired with appropriate mixers and garnish

- with our own specially selected herbs grown on-site!

The origins and history of gin from the sixteenth century to the present day will be recalled during your private tasting experience, and to accompany your top notch gins special locally produced gin-infused canapés will be served, each chosen to enhance your drink.
Each guest will receive an Orkney customised Standing Room Gin Bar slate coaster to take away to remind you of your peedie experience. These experiences are ideal for special presents, team events or just a great way to spend a few hours in Kirkwall.

Our Sister Company - Tuk Tuk Bar

Our Tuk Tuk has been specially imported from India and custom converted locally by STL Joinery.
With its cute, compact size it's perfect for fitting into community halls, schools, gardens, clubs, local shows and events.
We can make your special occasion a little bit different, be it a birthday, anniversary, wedding, pre-wedding drinks, hen do, leaving do, corporate event, team building event, works do or just an excuse for a get together!
Our bar serves spirits, prosecco, draught Swannay beer on tap, cider, lager, wine and premium Fever Tree mixers; all served by our knowledgeable, professional staff.
